How can you become involved?
Incorporated November 10, 1954, the Old Orchard Beach Historical Society was founded to preserve, promote, educate, collect and make available information documenting the rich history of our town and its people. A membership organization, the Society welcomes anyone who shares an interest in Old Orchard's past, present, or future and a desire to ensure care of our Harmon Museum and its extensive archives. Membership
None of the valuable work done by the Old Orchard Beach Historical Society at the Harmon Museum would be possible without support from members of our community. By becoming a Member, you can show your enthusiasm for history and offer valuable support to the work of the Society, including educational programs, archival research and artifact preservation.
You can become a Member with an annual donation of as little as $10. Join now to begin receiving regular notices of Historical Society activities and events. As a member, you will receive invitations to all lectures and programs sponsored by the Old Orchard Beach Historical Society. In addition to invitations you will receive free research sessions in the archives and a subscription to our e-newsletter, keeping you up to date on the exciting activities of the Society. Each year the Society holds an informative Annual Meeting at the Harmon Museum.
