Dan Blaney, Joe Reardon, Stanley Quinlan
Dan Blaney has been an active member of the Old Orchard Beach Historical Society since 1970 and has served as the Society's president, vice president, trustee and historian. The author of two books, Postcards of Ocean Park and Postcard Images of Old Orchard Beach, Dan has been researching Old Orchard history since 1967. He served on the Town's 100th anniversary celebration executive committee in 1983 and was co-chair of the Old Orchard Beach 125th Anniversary Celebration Committee in 2008. Dan was appointed offical Town Historian in 2007.
President - Brian Bergeron
Brian Bergeron has lived in Old Orchard Beach for over 50 years. A retired letter carrier for the U.S Postal Service, Brian holds a degree in history from the University of Maine, Portland-Gorham. His lifelong love of history continues as he fulfills his role as current president of the Old Orchard Beach Historical Society.
Jeanne is a lifelong resident of Old Orchard Beach and has been Museum curator since 2011. She brings with her strong organizational and people skills.
A lifelong resident of Old Orchard Beach, Arlene (Bellevue) Hanson has been a volunteer at the Historical Society since 2006 as a docent and collections cataloger. She currently holds the office of Secretary for the Historical Society.
Stan Quinlan became our treasurer in March 2011. Formerly a teacher in Reading, Massachusetts, where he taught middle school mathematics and ancient history, Stan is using Intuit?s Quicken 2011 bookkeeping program to track Old Orchard Beach Historical Society's financial information. He and his wife, Ann Marie, have recently become full-time residents of Old Orchard Beach.
A volunteer with the Historical Society since 2007, Janet Hamilton brings experience from previous volunteer work with the Nashua Historical Society, New Hampshire and the St. Petersburg Museum of History, Florida. Janet manages the museum's collections database, PastPerfect, and contributes graphic arts skills to their exhibits.
