= Town Historian & Museum Trustee - Daniel Blaney

Dan Blaney has been an active member of the Old Orchard Beach Historical Society since 1970 and has served as the Society's president, vice president, trustee and historian. The author of two books, Postcards of Ocean Park and Postcard Images of Old Orchard Beach, Dan has been researching Old Orchard history since 1967. He served on the Town's 100th anniversary celebration executive committee in 1983 and is currently co-chair of the 2008 Old Orchard Beach 125th Anniversary Celebration Committee. Dan was appointed offical Town Historian in 2007. Email Dan Blaney.  

=President - Arthur Guerin

Following his retirement after 34 years as a fulltime firefighter with the Old Orchard Beach Fire Department, Captain Guerin became active in the Historical Society, and currently serves as the Society's President.  Email Arthur Guerin.

=Secretary - Arlene Hanson

A lifelong resident of Old Orchard Beach, Arlene (Bellevue) Hanson has been a volunteer at the Historical Society since 2006 as a docent and collections cataloger.  She currently holds the office of Secretary for the Historical Society.  Email Arlene Hanson.

 

=Treasurer - Priscilla Gallant

A resident of Old Orchard Beach since 1945, Priscilla (Roy) Gallant attended local schools and graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School.  An indispensable member of the Society, Priscilla coordinates volunteers and activities and currently holds the office of Historical Society Treasurer.  Email Priscilla Gallant.

  

= Museum Curator - James Molloy

Jim Molloy has been curator of the Harmon Museum since 2003.  Prior to that time, Jim taught high school mathematics for over 30 years.  Jim holds undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Industrial Technology, and a masters degree in Administration & Supervision.  Jim and his wife of 50 years have four adult children and 10 grandchildren and have been seasonal residents of Old Orchard Beach since 1986.  Email Jim Molloy.

= Projects Manager & Researcher - Evelyn Cooper

Evelyn Cooper, a native of Niagara County, New York, moved to her adopted town of Old Orchard Beach in 2004, following her two youngest daughters who had relocated to Maine the year before (she also has a son in Arizona and daughter in Colorado).  Evelyn holds a B.A. in Psychology from Ft. Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.  She has been a member of the Old Orchard Beach Historical Society and active volunteer at the Harmon Museum since May of 2005.  Email Evelyn Cooper.

= Database Management - Janet Hamilton

Janet Hamilton and her husband are seasonal residents of Old Orchard Beach.  A volunteer since 2007, she brings experience from volunteer work with museums in Florida and New Hampshire.  Janet maintains our accession files and genealogy database, and contributes graphic arts skills to our exhibits.  Email Janet Hamilton.
